Celebration Cake Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Jill’s Treats Cakes & Bakes. By placing an order you agree to the

following Terms & conditions. Please read them carefully.

All sales are subject to the following terms and conditions. Nothing contained within these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

General Information

Jill’s Treats Cakes & Bakes is a registered & insured business. It operates in accordance within UK consumer law. Our primary goal is to provide you with high quality delicious baked goods.

Orders

All orders must be placed via the website, email or phone etc. For celebration cakes, the design process will be done over email or phone. Once we receive your order we will confirm the details, including, total cost, delivery or collection arrangements & any other special requirements.All dietary requirements and or allergies must be disclosed at the beginning of the order process.

Custom orders

For custom cakes or orders, we will require a description of your requirements andconfirm the details before processing your order.

Payment

Initial payment – the initial payment of £50 for celebration cakes at the time of booking.

For wedding cakes and larger orders, over £200 an initial payment of £100 maybe required.

Final payment

Final payments & initial payments are made via bank transfer or payment

link. The final payment is due 7 days before the order date for celebration cakes.

For wedding cakes & larger orders it is 4 weeks before the due date.

Cancellation & Refunds

Customer cancellations:

If full payment is not received by the due date the initial payment paid will be forfeited.

- Cancellations must be made in writing, email for example.

- Orders cancelled once the final payment has been received will not be refunded.

Please note initial payments are non refundable once the order is confirmed.

This reflects the the time and preparation spent in designing & preparing your quote.

Business cancellations

In the rare event that we must cancel your order due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Delivery/collection

We offer the delivery in Warwickshire and the surrounding area. However delivery charges may be applicable if the journey time exceeds 30 minutes. These will be discussed at the initial order phase and confirmed with your order confirmation.

Collection

If you have arranged to collect your order please ensure that you do so on the specified day & time. We are not responsible for any damage to products once they have been collected.

Damaged Products

We take great care in packing and/or delivering your baked goods, however should they arrive damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt, providing photos of the damage for review.

Product Information

Ingredients:

All ingredient information that is used in our baked goods, can be provided on request. It is essential that you notify us of any particular dietary requirements or allergies at the time of ordering.We cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment, but will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your requirements.

Product description

We make every effort to ensure that the product meets the description provided at the time of ordering. However please be aware that colours, design & decorations mayvary slightly from any picture provided.

Also be aware that, we will not be able to replicate exactly any images you may provide.

Late & Missed orders

We will make every effort to ensure your order is ready on time. If you arrive late to collect it we cannot guarantee it will be available for pick up after that agreed time. It may be necessary to reschedule the collection time.

For deliveries, if no one is available to receive the goods at the specified time, the order may need to be rescheduled and additional charges may be incurred.

Social Media & Promotions

By placing an order, you agree that we can use photos of your order on our social media, website and other marketing material.

Data Protection

Your personal information will be used solely for your order and it’s processing. We will not share your data to third parties, without your permission, except where required by law.Changes to Terms & Conditions We may review or revise these term’s & conditions from time to time. The latest version will be on the website.
